Thomas Armbruster, MD

Thomas Armbruster, MD, graduated with a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He earned national certification in his specialty from the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Ph ysicians.

In addition to family medicine, Dr. Armbruster’s areas of subspecialty include occupational medicine (the diagnosis and treatment of workplace injuries) and urgent care for non-life-threatening, minor medical emergencies.

Outside of his professional practice, Dr. Armbruster, an experienced scuba diver and marine biologist, is the president and founder of the SandyHook SeaLife Foundation. This organization is dedicated to the protection and preservation of endangered marine animals and environments. He also has authored The Swordfish Hunters, a first-hand account of his experiences upon an off-shore commercial fishing boat.

 

Stephen Bushay, MD

Bushay Stephen, DODr. Bushay is board certified in family medicine and a graduate (magna cum laude) of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After earning a medical degree, Dr. Bushay completed his residency in family medicine at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. He then served four years as a physician in the Air Force at Langley Air Force Base, including a tour in Saudi Arabia from late 2001 to early 2002. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the New Jersey Chapter of American Academy of Family Physicians. He has served as an urgent care physician with AtlantiCare Physician Group Urgent Care in Egg Harbor Township since 2005.

Dr. Bushay’s practice philosophy involves caring for each patient as an individual person with unique problems and needs. He has special interest in adolescent medicine – caring for patients often caught between pediatricians and “adult” doctors. His other interests include the care and medical management of people with asthma and diabetes.

Jason Chew, DO

Marna A. Cutler, DO, is known for providing highly compassionate patient care and for involving patients into decisions relating to their medical care and treatment. She chose the field of family medicine because of her interest in providing continuity of care throughout one’s lifetime and the dynamic of seeing multiple generations within the same family.

Dr. Cutler graduated from the School of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey and also earned a B.S. degree in biology (with honors) from Cook College, Rutgers University. She completed her residency and internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she received broad training in family medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and other fields, as well as in caring for both inpatients and outpatients with acute and chronic illnesses.

She is board certified in family practice and osteopathic manipulation treatment by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. In addition, Dr. Cutler is a member of the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. In 2009, she was named to Atlantic City Weekly’s “Top 40 Under 40.”

Ronald Gelzunas, MD, graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, and the U.S. Air Force Flight Surgeon School. He is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where he attained the rank of lieutenant colonel and served past commander and chief of clinic services for the 177th Medical Squadron, as well as a U.S. Air Force flight surgeon.

Previously, Dr. Gelzunas served as a clinical instructor, Department of Family Practice, at Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine. Dr. Whiting earned his medical degree from the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in geology, a Master of Science degree in Geology, and a Master of Science degree in Entomology.

In addition to working in private- and group-practice settings, Dr. Whiting has provided patient care in hospitals, nursing homes, addiction clinics, hospice, school clinics, county jails, adolescent detention centers, and in private residences. He has received numerous awards for patient satisfaction and service excellence.
